Tingley Scout Hut
Tingley Scout Hut provides an indoor meeting place for several of our groups.
It's also available to hire for community use at very competitive rates.
Our Facilities
The building is well-equipped and has undergone extensive renovation over the last few years, now providing meeting space for groups from Beavers up to Explorers.
We are keen for the building to be a community asset and welcome bookings for one-off events and are also open to regular usage commitments.
The Space
Our main hall is 11 m x 8 m, with a wooden floor. It's ideal for reasonable sized groups, with a range of tables and chairs available.
Central Location
Located just opposite the Village hotel by M62 Jcn 28, we have easy access from Morley and the surrounding areas.
Full Kitchen
The kitchen boasts a large double range cooker and stainless steel prep surfaces. It's ideal for cooking party food.
Parking
There is parking on-site for 4 cars, along with a good sized public layby. Other on-street parking is available nearby.
Transport Links
A bus stop right outside (425/427) means we're easily accessible by public transport but we are also only a short walk from Morley.
Transparent Pricing
We charge £15/ph for all hires and there's a discount if you are a regular user. All proceeds help fund Scouting.
