Phoenix Campsite
Based on Nepshaw Lane in Morley, SLAM Scouts have their own two acre urban campsite ideal for an activity filled weekend. There is a large marquee which can be used as a base whilst on site and two activity/camping fields. With space in the woods for those that want to build shelters or hammock and a second shelter on the lower field to provide cover, the site offers great flexibility.
Our Activities
We have packed a huge number of activities into our compact site, all priced extremely competitively.
Best of all, they're available to book regardless of whether you are camping for the night or just visiting to do activities.
Archery
Our four-target, netted range area is nestled in the bottom corner of the site and always a winner for all ages.
Axe Throwing
With another four moveable targets, you can throw angel axes in designated locations on site, depending on your other activities.
Air Rifles
Practice your sharp-shooting at our indoor range in the marquee.
Cave Bus
Converted from an old minibus, our "cave" is somewhat of a tricky tardis!
Crate-Stacking
Newly refurbished in 2024, this ever-popular activity will test the balance of even the steadiest Scout.
Zip Line
Such a simple concept, but this 20m zip-line will entertain your young people for hours!
Bouldering Wall
Featuring a number of "puzzles", the bouldering wall is a great low-impact activity with no permits required.

Risk Assessments
You are responsible for your own risk assessments while camping and using the site. We have provided our risk assessments for each site-supplied acitivity for your guidance. Please ensure that your team read these if doing activities and amend to suit your requirements if necessary.
