Celebrating 25 Years of South Leeds & Morley (SLAM) District
To mark our district having being established for 25 years, we want to bring everyone together for a fantastic weekend of fun activities and celebrations.
SLAMFest will be our first ever district camp, so for some it will be their first "big camp" and it promises to be an amazing experience.

Rememebr to use Junction 36 when leaving the M1, this will mean that you are turning left into the campsite which is really important so that we don't block the main road.
The programme is fun-packed with over 40 activities to choose from, running over Saturday and Sunday.
- Site Activities
We're using a huge range of the site activities including Archery, Axe Throwing, Air Rifles, Climbing & Abseiling, Cave Bus, The Cube & Nightline. - Arts & Crafts
There will be chance to get stuck into woggle making, long-stick painting, biscuit decorating and lots of other fun activities. - Fun & Games
With a raft of inflatables, garden games, grass sledging, and other field games, there will be time to run off some energy and get competitive with your friends. - District Heritage
The district heritage stand is a chance for you to learn about the history of our district as well as a chance to "guess the leader" from their childhood photo! - District Campfire
Be part of an activity that no camp would be complete without, run by a very experienced special guest from another district. - Anniversary Picnic
To celebrate our 25th anniversary, we're having a district picnic on the Sunday. It will be chance for everyone to share stories of the weekend, but also it will mean you don't need to prepare a meal on Sunday lunch, so can pack up after breakfast.
All groups and members from South Leeds & Morley District are invited
We want to celebrate with everyone from the district!
Groups will be camping together, like we did at Challenge '23, so you'll already know plenty of people but you'll get to join in with everyone else from across the district over the three day event.
We're also hoping that former volunteers from the last few decades will be able to come along too, to join in with the celebrations and so that we can recognise their contribution to our district.
